What's the role?

 As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customer accounts across the country within our Contract Logistics division. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of customer strategies, while also identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to identify and understand customer needs and develop effective tailored solutions.

 Having a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities;
  • Identify and understand customer needs through proactive thinking and continuous improvement principles;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement customized solutions;
  • Maintain and building regular communication with customers to build customer loyalty;
  • Identify opportunities within accounts for cost savings and revenue growth;
  • Leverage appropriate technology to streamline account management processes and enhance customer experience.

What you need is:

  • 5+ years in a logistics/transport Account Manager position;
  • Strong operational understanding of last mile cargo movements;
  • Proven record in attracting, winning and maintaining customers;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Self-motivated and performance driven;
  • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills (internally and externally);
  • Strong knowledge of various IT Systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Understanding of client’s business drivers;
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
