Since inception in 1983 we have always looked outside of the box with our Research and development for new technology solutions for customers. We were one of the first companies in the Australian marketplace to introduce sign on glass technology, live GPS tracking of the delivery driver, and even automatically notifying customers when the shipment is within 6km radius of delivery.
Today we are taking our R&D that one step further by thinking inside the box!
After many discussions with our customers who ship high value items, we were told they wanted the additional security of not only being able to track the delivery driver every step of the way, they wanted to be able to track the exact whereabouts of their package anywhere they shipped it. That is either local, interstate or anywhere in the world, day or night.
The challenge was accepted and we have been trialing a new tracking device, the size of a credit card that provides on demand location tracking at any time, from anywhere in the world utilizing a GSM cellular network.
Depending on the frequency of location reports, the tracking device can last up to 4 months on a single charge and can be tracked directly from a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
